Does Leather Artisan Sydney still accept customer orders?
Starting from 2025, due to limited time and energy, we will not be able to accept customer orders in order to complete the repairs for our partners' items within the required timeframe. We hope for your understanding. In the future, when the situation allows, we will reopen and resume our previous services. Once again, we sincerely appreciate your understanding.
Will my damaged shoes/bags return to their brand-new condition?
Leather restoration is a magical trick to reduce traces of wear and to improve the condition of outlook in general. It removes the scratches, vanishing germs and smells, taking off the pen marks, renovating the colours, as well as repolishing and gold plating the logo. However, leather is like our skin, some traces like creases and wrinkles could not be removed due to its nature. A pair of shoes worn for a few years will lost its shape and left with declining rubber sole. Our mission is to find those which are repairable and restorable and improve your beloved one’s condition up to a higher level.
Is it okay to wash the suede with water?
Technically you could wash suede with water. However, incorrect care after washing can cause mould, fur flattening and colour fading. In LA workshop, we use the PH-balanced suede-cleaning products with care so it’s 100% worries-free. Currently you can enjoy a complimentary colour-renovating services when you place a BLACK suede shoes/boots clean order.
Can you fix PU leather or synthetic leather?
PU leather and synthetic leather cannot be restored like normal leather. It can be removed and replace with a similar-coloured leather type depending on the affected area and location.
Can you fix my leather furniture or alter my leather jacket/pants?
No. We currently do not offer any services related to leather furniture, leather jackets and leather pants. Our primary focus is on designer brand bags and shoes as our main service.
How’s your pickup and delivery services?
We temporarily do not provide pick-up and delivery services. If needed, please inquire, and we will charge based on the location of the item if the journey is feasible.
What payment methods accepted in your shop?
We accepted all card payment methods including Amex. 1.5% surcharge apply if the order under $50. Cash and bank transfer as well as Alipay is also popular for in-store payment. Zippay and afterpay is currently not available.
